I love this! I didn’t get to put on the bunny suit, but this is exactly what I wanted to do (videotape the inside of this building, not goof on Intel) when I visited in January.

Jen at ISN sent it to me, so I guess Intel’s taking the silliness in stride.

I’ve been meaning to get into the meat of this for a while but have been swamped. CV does a much better job than I would have anyway with this screencast explaining the Web 2.0 TDK and some possible uses. I love that you can see whether or not the user has a single or dual core pc and how many CPUs as well.

I wasn’t able to say anything before now, but I’m excited to report that Josh Bancroft, of TinyScreenfuls fame, is moving to the Intel Software Network as the Social Networking Specialist. He’s been a big social media advocate at Intel up to now, so it’s exciting to see he’s being used in such a relevant way now.

Here’s what he had to say about it on his blog:

Starting tomorrow, I work for Intel Software Network (intel.com/software), a community for developers using pretty much anything Intel related. There are blogs by Intel software folks, very active technical forums, a wiki, downloadable tools to help your apps rock harder, and even videos with application engineers and community managers, and more. There are some more defined communities that are focused on, like mobility and gaming, but the basic idea is that we want this to be your go to place for anything related to software development and Intel.

So glad to have Josh working in the department that I am working with, since I’ve admired his work for some time.

If any of you are following the work the Intel Software Network is doing, and I know you are, you may want to grab the RSS feed for the Flickr account we just set up. Aaron’s trip to Mashup Camp is documented on there, as is the recent ISN Mobile Developer Community Meeting and some photos from the Mobile Mod Contest.

Also, I made mention of the Intel 45 Nanometer blowup over the weekend on my primary blog. Do you think the blow up is bad for ISN or Podtech?

Intel Software Network at Mashup Camp

Jason and Aaron are at Mashup Camp today. Aaron posted on the previous few days at Mashup University, with this notable observation:

I’ve seen some great presentations by AOL on microformats, Open AIM, Boxley; Adobe on Apollo/Flex; Sun on JavaServer Faces. Lignup talked about mashup voice and rich media into web applications. Microsoft demonstrated Virtual Earth 3D. Autodesk, Eventful, Infusion and Kapow presented their tools for making mashups. We also did a bit of speed geeking during the Monday lunch time break.

I’m hoping to get some video from Aaron to put up ASAP, but if not, we’ll see it on the ISN blog sometime next week.
