The Halo 3 Beta will be released on May 16 at 5AM. Oddly enough, this is the day my husband will turn 33. Do you think those two things will be enough to get the day off?
This is your chance to get to try new levels, weapons, vehicles, and try out some new game types. Maps shipping with the beta include Snowbound, Hugh Ground, and Valhalla - all new to Halo 3. Try your hand at the new Mongoose ATV, and gun-up with the new and improved Assault Rifle, Brute Spiker, Spike Grenades, and the killer Spartan Laser.
You can only have access to the game if you were either part of the Rule of Three promotion or if you scored (or plan to score) a copy of the Crackdown game that is flying off store shelves. I bought Crackdown on the day it was released, hoping that the Beta would be live at that point (moron…) but since it wasn’t I’ve had an insane time playing through that killer game.
But soon my $60 purchase will be rewarded as I glimpse the sweet visor of the Master Chief in all his energy-shielded glory. So, gnash your teeth with envy or pick up your own copy of Crackdown and play with me next month. My gamertag is Duzins. Prepare for pwnage.

This ridiculousness from someone who doesn’t even want to see the beta but wants to be ’surprised’ when it comes out. By that time I’ll know the maps and pwnage will be mine.

I love Crackdown! I also thought I would be able to play Halo 3 immediately. Durrh! I cannot wait for Halo 3. I’m also looking forward to Mass Effect by BioWare. That looks amazing!

Crackdown was actually a very good game. I was surprised as I really only bought it for the Halo 3 beta. I hate to admit that we are going to buy another copy this weekend so we’ll have two keys. We have two 360s so we are really looking forward to playing the beta on both machines together. What fun! Too bad it’s only til’ June 9.
Mass Effect looks sweet too. Let me know how it plays if you get it!

I’ll let you know. They haven’t given a release date for ME yet.
Yep, the only reason I bought Crackdown was for Halo3. I haven’t played it as much as I would like but that is going to change very soon! I’ve been playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion however there is some bug that causes you to lose a lot of your items after a certain amount of gameplay. I refuse to touch it until that gets fixed.
Crackdown and Gears of War will be getting my attention.

Oblivion is by far my fav RPG ever. I logged over 200 hours on it, but thank God didn’t run into that bug. I would have likely cried. I need to get GOW, all my friends have it and it looks crazy good!

Whoops forgot to say that it is you get it a lot quicker after installing shivering Isles. I had installed it checked it out (loved it) and went back into Cyrodiil! I go on The Elder Scrolls forums every few days to see if they’ve released the patch for the Xbox 360.
It’s always nice to meet another female gamer. Most of my friends/acquaintances think I’m nuts for gaming! LOL
