El Blaze

While most of us will agree that there are few games worth a toot for the PS3, one most are looking forward to is Virtua Fighter 5. This game is getting 9s and 10s from the reviewers, so I am guessing it’s pretty good (although they lied to us about Dead Rising).

Two new fighters (and some new customization opportunities) join the game:

El Blaze is a Mexican wrestling champion who uses the Lucha Libre fighting style while Eileen uses “Kou-Ken”, a Monkey Kung Fu style.

It really is a pretty game, but I haven’t played it so I can’t speak for the game play. The game is rated T for Teen and should retail for about $60. It will follow on the XBox 360, which is where I’ll play it.

My birthday was on Friday and my hubby got me a Zune. He also wrote this really sappy and sweet post, so he’s certainly in my good graces. ;)

Some Zune pron:

My first thoughts were about the enormous screen. I’ve had an iPod for a year now, and this screen is much larger. As well, the Zune is a little larger overall and thicker, but oddly, it’s a tad lighter. The surface has a flat, matte look to it. The only shiny parts on the device are the controls and the screen.

The Tabletscape and UMPC community are doing their best to keep their eyes open for a ‘considerable number’ of slates that were stolen from a TabletKiosk Warehouse in Torrance, CA. Here’s the note that Gail from TabletKiosk sent to a few bloggers:

The Tablet PC and UMPC fan base is often referred to as a community. This is why I am reaching out to the online Tablet and UMPC fan base so that we can all respond in a unified front.

On Sunday, February 11, the TabletKiosk warehouse in Torrance, CA was robbed. The thieves stole a considerable number of Sahara Slate PCs, eo v7110s and eo v7210 units.

We are working with the police to catch the perpetrators and retrieve the stolen units and are exploring every possible avenue. This is why we are asking for assistance from the Tablet and UMPC community who often uncover significant information about Tablet PCs and UMPCs online.

The stolen units are both pre-configured and configured units as well as some customers’ personal machines.

If you find information about any eo UMPC or Sahara Slate PCs for sale which seem too good to be true, I would appreciate if you would send the information to my attention. A reward will be provided for the person who provides us with information leading to the culprit.

Because the community is so close at this point, I think they may just find these units. It’s great to see a community band together like this.
